ARVO provides an operations platform for performing arts schools. This policy covers the personal information we handle when you interact with ARVO or with a school that uses ARVO, including text messaging programs.
What we collect
Contact information you or your school provide (name, phone number, email address), enrollment and scheduling details needed to operate your school's program (lessons, attendance, make-ups), and message delivery records (whether a message was sent and delivered).
How we use it
To operate the school's program: scheduling confirmations and changes, absence and make-up coordination, enrollment and account notices, and replies to messages you send us. Messages come from your school through the ARVO platform.
Text messaging (SMS) disclosures
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use cases exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency varies based on your school activity (for example, lesson reminders and schedule changes). Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@heyarvo.com. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us deliver the platform (such as messaging and email carriers and cloud hosting), with the school whose program you participate in, and where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
You may opt out of text messages (reply STOP), unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in any message, and contact your school or support@heyarvo.com to access, correct, or delete your information, subject to records the school is required to keep.
Children
ARVO is used by schools that serve families. Student records are provided and managed by the parent or guardian and the school; ARVO communicates with parents and guardians, not with children.
Security and retention
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging. We retain information for as long as the school's program requires or as law requires, then delete or de-identify it.
